Welcome to the British School of Amsterdam. I hope that you will find here all the key information which you need, if you are considering the school either for your own education or on behalf of your daughter or son, relative or friend.
This is just a website. No matter how professional and attractive any site may be, it will give you only an overview of procedures and systems -- but it cannot convey fully what is personal and warm about our school. That is what we aim to provide in the everyday life of the BSA; students and adults working together to lay good foundations. We want each student to develop the intellectual skills which will open opportunities in the future. Equally, we emphasise daily the need for strong personal values; integrity, determination, respect for people and property, and importantly, a sense of fun. Please; if you can, come and visit us and see students and teachers in action. You will be warmly welcomed, and you can ask all the questions which most concern you. Alternatively, if you are far away, please telephone or e-mail as necessary.
