What is the cut-off date for students entering the School?
Children joining the Nursery may enter in the school term in which they turn 3. For example a child turning three in February may join the school at the start of the spring term in January.
The cut off date is 31st August. Therefore pupils entering Reception must turn 5 by August 31 at the end of their Reception year. Pupils entering Year 1 must turn 6 by the August 31 at the end of Year 1 and so on as we progress up the School.
Pupils are placed in Year Groups according to their date of birth. Exceptions are made only in extraordinary circumstances.
