Are there opportunities for parents become involved in school life?

The school holds a parent volunteer register which lists the various skills that parents have and that the school may call upon as/when needed. Examples of activities which may require parental skills include costume/prop making and scenery painting for school assemblies/productions, gardening, librarian, assisting on a school trip etc. Parents volunteer their skills and should never feel obliged to help if they do not wish to.
